	WHO IS MILDRED QUIMBY?
	Mildred Quimby is the founder and namesake of Quimby's Cruising Guide. On the next page is an article that was used in the forward section of the 1984 Quimby's Harbor Guide (as it was formerly named), which was the first copy of Quimby's to be published by new ownership. The new publisher was Nelson Spencer with The Waterways Journal, Inc., who continues to publish the guide to this day. This page is a tribute to Ms. Quimby, her devotion to the river and her cruising guide. Continue next page
